OSHA Outreach courses deliver essential training in hazard recognition, regulatory requirements, and on-the-job safety. Designed to strengthen workplace safety culture, these programs help workers and employers follow regulations, reduce incidents, and increase productivity across all industries. Courses are based on 29 CFR 1926 (Construction) and 1910 (General Industry) standards and are intended to support hazard recognition, regulation, and workplace safety.
OSHA Outreach courses are provided in partnership with UL Solutions PureSafety, an OSHA-authorized online Outreach provider.
These programs are developed to support applicable mine safety and training requirements while increasing awareness of the hazards, health risks, and safety responsibilities associated with mining operations. Course content addresses topics relevant to coal, metal, and nonmetal mining and may incorporate requirements and safe work practices found throughout applicable sections of 30 CFR, including Parts 46, 48, 49, 56, 75, and 77. Because training requirements vary based on mine type, job duties, work location, site conditions, and the mine operator’s approved training plan, no single course should be assumed to satisfy every requirement for every worker or operation. Workers and contractors are responsible for confirming the training required for their specific jobsite and role. Please contact Kelly Safety if you need assistance selecting the appropriate course or determining what additional training may be required.
TRAINING ACCEPTANCE DISCLAIMER: Kelly Safety develops its MSHA training programs to support applicable federal training and safety requirements under 30 CFR. However, mine operators retain responsibility for their approved training plans, site-specific hazard awareness training, task training, hands-on instruction, contractor qualifications, and any other training required for work at their operation. Mine operators also retain independent discretion regarding the acceptance of third-party training and may impose requirements beyond those addressed in an online or instructor-led course. Completion of a Kelly Safety course does not replace training that must be provided or verified by the mine operator. Students and contractors should confirm all requirements directly with the mine where work will be performed or contact a Kelly Safety instructor for guidance before purchasing training.
